Landscape on wheels’s idea is to highlight an element that most of the times is irrelevant to the public.
The prefabricated structure is used as a storage for gaming equipment of Cascina Biblioteca’s community.
The aesthetics of the decoration is inspired by the wireframe of digital modeling software and gives this small architecture an unusual appearance that accentuates the lines of construction of the architecture itself. The windows show a wireframe-horizon and allow the observer to see the landscape ideally contained within the prefabricated, which becomes a portal to an imaginative dimension.
Landscape on wheels was made during an artists’ residency at the Agricultural Association Cascina Biblioteca in Milan, curated by Cecilia Guida and Rossana Ciocca.
